Want to support a police state? Love Nazi Germany? Hate the 1st amendment? CLICK HERE

I ran across this guy (Mark Dice) a couple weeks ago and some of the videos he does, while funny, are pretty damn sad. He acts like he's collecting signatures for a petition, all of which are absolutely ridiculous, and the majority of these mindless drones he runs across just sign in support. No questions asked. It's just an illustration of how out of touch with reality your average person is in this country. Maybe it's just his little area in California. Maybe there's just something in the water down there or something wrong with the people in that region, I don't know. I do know that he's just walking up to random people, telling them he has a petition and they just sign without giving it a second thought. In support of an Orwellian/Nazi style police state, in support of getting rid of the 1st amendment and what the hell, even signing a petition that literally says "I Am a Moron" at the top of it in big bold text. I'll post a couple videos here but there's many more, check him out on youtube for yourself if you're interested. They're like 3-6 mins each, so not a big time sink, they'd just be redundant anyway if they were any longer.

I don't know about you guys but I don't put my signature on something unless I know what it is. Unless I at least have some vague idea of what the hell it is that I'm signing and even then, if it was this far out there, this ridiculous, there is no way in hell I would sign....

EDIT: This makes me think that the following statements, and similar predictions made by some very respected academics, really aren't that far off after all. I read a lot of material that most people find flat out boring as all hell. When I run across the following I tend to think "Nah, not in my life time, maybe a couple generations down the road..." When I watch stuff like these Mark Dice videos, I can't help but think "Maybe, just maybe, we're a lot closer to this than I thought."

"Fichte laid it down that education should aim at destroying free will, so that, after pupils have left school, they shall be incapable, throughout the rest of their lives, of thinking or acting otherwise than as their schoolmasters would have wished. But in his day this was an unattainable ideal: what he regarded as the best system in existence produced Karl Marx. In future such failures are not likely to occur where there is dictatorship. Diet, injections, and injunctions will combine, from a very early age, to produce the sort of character and the sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable, and any serious criticism of the powers that be will become psychologically impossible. Even if all are miserable, all will believe themselves happy, because the government will tell them that they are so." - Bertrand Russell, The Impact of Science on Society, 1952

"Within the next generation I believe that the world's rulers will discover that infant conditioning and narcohypnosis are more efficient, as instruments of government, than clubs and prisons, and that the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging and kicking them into obedience. In other words, I feel that the nightmare of Nineteen Eighty-Four is destined to modulate into the nightmare of a world having more resemblance to that which I imagined in Brave New World. The change will be brought about as a result of a felt need for increased efficiency." - Aldous Huxley (Taken from a letter that he wrote to George Orwell in 1949.)
