What do Stephan Bonnar, Rich Franklin, Thiago Silva, Rashad Evans and Ryan Bader all have in common?
None of those mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters had ever been knocked out in their professional careers. That is, until they ran head-first into former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight Champion Lyoto Machida.
Now that Machida has been bounced from the 205-pound title chase following a disappointing unanimous decision loss to Phil Davis last August in Brazil, "The Dragon" looks to recapture some of his former glory by dropping to 185 pounds and trying his luck at middleweight.
And based on the video above, that could be bad news for Mark Munoz.
"The Filipino Wrecking Machine" has been tasked with welcoming the Brazilian to his new home in a five-round main event at UFC Fight Night 30 this Saturday night (Oct. 26, 2013) on FOX Sports 2 at the Phones4U Arena in Manchester, England.
Machida 2.0? Or same old, same old? We'll find out in just a few days.
