Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) complete blew the doors off Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, last night (Sat., Oct. 19, 2013), with a Heavyweight championship trilogy in the main event and a pay-per-view (PPV) card loaded with thrilling mixed martial arts (MMA) action.

John Dodson set the tone for the PPV broadcast, stopping fellow Flyweight Darrell Montague with a knockout in round one. Gabriel Gonzaga kept the momentum rolling with a quick stoppage of Shawn Jordan in their Heavyweight tilt, before Gilbert Melendez and Diego Sanchez absolutely melted brains in their Lightweight "Fight of the Year" back-and-forth brawl.

And, of course, last -- and certainly not least -- Cain Velasquez raked Junior dos Santos over the coals once again for 4.5 rounds en route to a technical knockout stoppage in the fifth and final rounds (watch those full fight video highlights here).
Immediately following the event, UFC President Dana White -- along with a handful of notable fighters such as Velasquez, dos Santos (maybe), Daniel Cormier, Roy Nelson and Melendez, among others -- took the dais to answer for their respective performances, some of which garnered them additional cash.
