UFC Quick Quote: Rashad Evans wants another title fight against Jon Jones

Paul Abell-US PRESSWIRE

Alexander Gustafsson isn't the only former title contender to go five rounds against the champ, and Rashad Evans is already looking toward a future 205-pound rematch against "Bones" in 2014.

"I hit a bit of a slump losing two fights in a row, so now I am getting back on track with my win against Dan Henderson. I want to get back in the race, I want to get another fight with Jon Jones, he's at the top right now and I want to work my way back up there and get another chance to fight him."

Now that Alexander Gustafsson was able to prove that reigning UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones is indeed human, the 205-pound title contenders are coming out of the woodwork. That includes former nemesis and ex-champion Rashad Evans (via Fighters Only), who is just the second person -- behind "The Mauler" -- to go five rounds against "Bones," though "Suga" was not as sweet as Big Gus when he had his title shot back at UFC 145. The good news, at least for Rashad, is that Jones welcomes a second go-round, if for nothing else than to finish him off once and for all. Assuming he can get past Chael Sonnen in their upcoming UFC 167 co-main event (details), where do you rank Evans in the list of possible contenders, if at all?
