The eighteenth season of the Ultimate Fighter (TUF) has seen a major change to the format of the show. For the first time ever, men and women are living in the same house vying for a six-figure contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
The teams are coached by Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate, who will meet at UFC 168 for Rousey's UFC women's Bantamweight title. They've been rivals since their bout in Strikeforce and could very well be the breakthrough bout that puts women's mixed martial arts (MMA) on the map.
Having a co-ed house created concern from Rousey who was adamant that the women not embarrass themselves by hooking up with the male fighters while on the show. Thus far, there haven't been any night vision "hookup" shots that were made popular on the Real World and Big Brother.
Team Tate's first pick, Cody Bollinger provides a behind the scenes look at the palatial Vegas mansion. He also admits to sneaking off to a restricted area when he needed to clear his head.
One thing is for sure: the fighters are living like kings and queens in "Sin City". Believe that.
