Chael Sonnen waxes poetic in response to Wanderlei Silva's latest t-shirt

The feud between Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva heats up with the latest barrage of tweets from the man from West Linn, Oregon.

Yesterday (Oct. 12, 2013), Wanderlei Silva posted a photo on his Facebook page of his newest t-shirt. The shirt read "Anderson Knows Chael Talks Wand Does". It was the latest in an ongoing feud between Silva and Sonnen which has played out on Twitter and Youtube, but can't seem to happen in the Ultimate Fighting Championship's (UFC) Octagon.

It's not to say that the UFC hasn't tried to put the fight together. They've offered the bout to both fighters, but Silva apparently refuses to sign on the dotted line. Sonnen has said on record that it has been a distraction in his preparations for his upcoming bout with Rashad Evans.

The man from West Linn, Oregon can't seem to let Silva get the last word and took to Twitter to make sure the "Axe Murderer" knew he was on his mind. Sonnen stepped away from his usual pro-wrestling style promos and instead decided to show versatility with poetry.

And finally...

Damn. Cold. As. Ice.

I appreciate Sonnen's ability to wax poetic but I gotta say, I'm kind of disappointed at the lack of a haiku. Always loved the 5-7-5 syllable format.
