GLORY presents a loaded card of kickboxing action TONIGHT (Oct. 12, 2013) LIVE from Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
In the headline fight, 89-5 kickboxing great, and upcoming mixed martial artist, Tyrone Spong, will take on the 57-3 Australian Nathan Corbett. The bout is a rematch of a 2009 fight between the two that ended in a controversial "No Contest." The match is a big deal in the kickboxing world and presents perhaps one of the most highly anticipated kickboxing fights to take place on American soil.
The show will also feature a four man Heavyweight tournament that pits Rico Verhoeven against Gokhan Saki and on the other side of the brackets Daniel Ghita versus Anderson Silva (no MMA fans, not that Anderson Silva).
GLORY 11 represents the world's leading kickboxing promotion's debut on Spike TV. The action starts at 9 PM ET (8 PM CT) live on Spike TV. MMAmania.com will provide LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire GLORY 11: "Chicago" card this evening, starting at 8:30 p.m ET.

GLORY 11 PLAY-BY-PLAY RESULTS:
Rico Verhoeven vs. Daniel Ghita
Round one: Rico comes out stalking him, but Ghita delivers a liver kick. Ghita goes for a knee but stumbles back and falls. Rico with a push kick. Ghita corners him but Rick clinches and digs in a right to the body. Ghita jabs through the guard. Trading big shots now. Ghita backs him up and digs to the body. Ghita with a kick to the body. Rico lands a right hand. Rico with another right hand behind the guard.
Round two: Rico with a push kick. Rico to the body with a hook. Rico turning it up with big punches and Ghita responds. Both men trading in tight. Rico lands a right hand behind the guard and clinches. Left head kick connects for Ghita. Rico backing him up and throwing punches. Rico digs to the body and Ghita opens up with a combo to end the round.
Round three: Both men in a phone booth trading at the start. Ghita throws a head kick against the ropes. Rico blasting the body with shots. Rico buckles him with a leg kick. Rico backs him up. Rico digs to the body and Ghita punches to the head. Ghita falls to his back after a clinch attempt from Rico. Push kick from Rico. Rico lands a left hook and a right uppercut. Crowd giving this fight a big standing ovation at the end of the round. They trade huge shots.
Final Result: Rico Verhoeven defeats Daniel Ghita via unanimous decision (29-28) (29-28) (29-28)
Tyrone Sprong vs. Nathan Corbett
Round one: Rashad Evans in Spong's corner. Crobett opens with a high kick but Spong checks it. Both men trading big shots early. Nice knee to the body from Corbette. Crobett landing to the body. Spong with a kick to the body. Spong sweeps him. Corbett snapping the jab then throws a combo and a left body kick. He digs to the body. Spong replies with a body shot of his own. Spong digs to the body again and backs him up. Body kick from Corbett as Spong backs him up. Counter left hook from Spong rocks Corbett. They trade low kicks at the bell.
Round two: Spong knocks him down just 10 seconds into the first. Corbett throwing combos, but Spong digging to the body. Spong muscles him into the corner. Spong drops him with a left hook. Corbett appears woozy for a second and the ref waves off the fight.
Final Result: Tyrone Sprong defeats Nathan Corbett via TKO at 1:10 of the second round
Joseph Vatellini vs. Karim Ghajji
Round one: Let's call these guys "Joe" and "Karim" for expediency's sake, shall we? Karim with low kicks early. Joe punches to the body and throws a headkick. He digs to the body again, and backs the Frenchman up. Karim lands another leg kick then a straight left hand. Joe throws a combo. They wing punches and trade. Joe punches to the stomach. Trading punches again. Joe backs him up with punches.
Round two: Karim comes forward early and misses a spinning back fist. Joe goes to the legs. Karim backs him up, but Joe lands a nice hook to the body and a high kick. They trade body shots. Karim with a right cross. Karim backs him up, and blocks a headkick attempt. Joe lands a nice right hand that could have been ruled a knockdown. Joe's got him on the ropes and lands a knee to the body.
Round three: Joe is against the ropes but firing back with punches. Both men trading stiff low kicks. Joe throws a head kick. Karim backs him up again and lands a right to the body. Joe throws a three strike combo. Joe goes for a knee up the middle. Joe lands a sick spinning back fist that puts Karim on spaghetti legs. Joe laying it on him now. He lands a headkick and the ref waives off the fight.

Rico Verhoeven vs. Gokhan Saki
Round one: They trade leg kicsk early. Rico gets an early knockdown on Saki that may have been a slip. Saki lands a nice headkick. Rico throws a nice kick to the body. Saki lays into him with big punches but Rico covers up. Saki lands a lead left hook. Rico makes contact with a stiff leg kick. Ricko backs him up and starts unloading with punches. Body kick from Rico.
Round two: Rico with jabs, then a punching combo. Saki trying to turn it on with punches, but Rico is walking him down once again. Left hook to the body followed to one to the head from the Turkish fighter. Saki lands a nut shot on Rico then kicks him with a leg kick as he's walking away. They're trading big bombs now. Saki turning it on, but Rico lands a kick to the body. Saki backs him up with punches to end the round and throws a spin kick to the breadbasket.
Round three: Rico lands a body kick, and takes the center of the ring. Saki blocks a high kick and throws some left hooks. Saki throws a head kick that's block. Saki throws a nice punch to the body. Rico fires back with a left hook to the liver of his own. Rico backs him up with a push kick. Rico has him on the ropes. Saki lands a spinning back fist at the bell.
Final Result: Rico Verhoeven defeats Gokhan Saki by majority decision (29-28) (29-28) (28-28)
Daniel Ghita vs. Anderson Silva
Round one: Big boos for Anderson Silva. These people are still mad about his clowning in the Weidman fight (I kid, it's not that Anderson Silva). How awesome would it be if Ghita's nickname was "Bagavad?" Ghita throws a nice kick to the body and a low kick. Silva digs to the body, but Ghita backs him up. Silva with a inside leg kick. Silva gets through with a stiff right uppercut. Ghita drops Silva with a counter right to the temple and the fight is over.
Final Result: Daniel Ghita defeats Anderson Silva via TKO at 1:56 of the first round
Errol Zimmerman vs. Hesdy Gerges
Round one: Zimmerman comes out dressed like La Parka or something and is nicknamed "Bone Crusher." Gerges has a "No Fear" tattoo on his belly. Gerges backs him up early and throws a bunch of leg kicks, but Bone Crusher fights his way out with the jab. Gerges witha rapid fire combo, but Zimmerman comes forward with a jumping knee. Gerges lighting him up with leg kicks. Bone Crusher drops Gerges with a right hand. Zimmerman looks to have more confidence and throws a combo and a jumping knee. Bone Crusher with a shot to the liver, backs Gerges up against the ropes and unloads with a savage flurry. Bones were crushed in that one.
Round two: Gerges comes out with a couple leg kicks, but Bone Crusher returns the favor. Three punch combo from Gerges. Gerges slips. Zimmerman with a jumping knee and a jab. Another jumping knee from Bone Crusher. Gerges tries to answer but it's block. Gerges backs him up. Gerges landing punches at the bell.
Round three: Gerges on the attack early, but Bone Crusher knocks him down with a counter right. Bone Crusher comes in with a flying knee, then follows it up with a combo that drops Gerges for the TKO victory.
Final Result: Errol Zimmerman defeats Hesdy Gerges via TKO at 0:38 of the third round
