See the teaser poster for the upcoming UFC on FOX 9 event on Dec. 14, 2013, featuring a 155-pound world title fight between UFC champion Anthony Pettis and former Strikeforce titleholder Josh Thomson.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is close to putting the finishing touches on its upcoming UFC on FOX 9 fight card, which is set to go down inside the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California, on Dec. 14, 2013.

"Pettis vs. Thomson" will be headlined by a 155-pound title fight pitting reigning UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis against former Strikeforce division titleholder Josh Thomson, a fight "Showtime" claims will end in the very first round.

That's not all.

The co-main event will feature former WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah Faber in his quest to get back into the 135-pound title hunt at the expense of fellow bantamweight stalwart Michael McDonald. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, Matt Brown will try to prove he's immortal against welterweight warrior Carlos Condit.

Here's a sneak peek at the UFC on FOX 9 teaser poster.
