New season kicks off Saturday, Jan. 19th!!
First off, this will be my last time running this Freepool. I want my Sunday mornings back. You know the ones where you just lie in bed with a massive hangover and don't move for hours and hours. Don't forget UFC events usually finish around 6 am here, and I used to try and have the results post up by midday.
Fuck all that grief after this season. I want to go back to the days when I'd watch UFC, get wrecked and crawl out of bed at lunchtime and fuck off straight to the pub for a curer without havin to think of doin a post.
I will however keep doin the Brack Tourny.

Bons' Bracket Brawl
Okay, so there was a bit of teething problems at the start of the Tourny last season, as to be expected considering it was the first one. Hopefully this runs more smoothly.
First off, this season I will have 31 (Thirty one) Qualifiers. I will put myself in as the 32nd entrant. It's my fuckin pool, my rules, bite me.
The tournament shall consist of :
- 32 players
- 1 qualifier event (UFC on FX 7)
- 4 knock-out rounds of 2 events.
- 1 event for the final
- 1 Champion
Qualifying Round ( UFC on FX 7)
Only the top 31 scores from that night's event will qualify for the knock-out stages. This is the only qualifier round, so if you fuck up, you are out before we even start. This is the top 31 scores from both the Freepool and Moneypools.
Round 1
The 32 players who qualify shall be appointed in the tournament at RANDOM.
Round 1 will consist of the highest combined scores from both UFC on FOX 6 and UFC 156: Aldo vs. Edgar.
Round 2
16 players will be left to battle it out. The highest combined scores from UFC ON FUEL 7 and UFC 157: Rousey vs. Carmouche will make it to the final 8
Round 3 and 4
Same as previous rounds. Round 4 will be the semi-finals
Final
The final will consist of just one event, the last event of the season. Highest scorer of that event will be declared the Champion.
In the case of a tie
- In the event thats say, 5 players are tied for 31st, I'm puttin them names in a fuckin hat and just gonna draw out a name as qualifier.
- If the two players end up with a tied score after the first round, the player who qualified with the higher score goes through.
- If scores are tied after 2 events (single round), the person with the highest previous round total score shall qualify.
- If the final event is a tie, the player with the highest overall semi-final score will be the Champion.
Prize
As previously stated, the winner shall have his entry fee paid for by myself to enter next seasons Moneypool. Just ask BNF!!

This is how the semi's and the final played out with BNF becoming the inaugural champion.
