The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 17: "Jones vs. Sonnen" is set to make its season premier on Jan. 22, 2013 at 9 p.m. ET on FX Channel, featuring UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones and unlikely division number one contender Chael Sonnen as head coaches.

And let's not forget about the cast of middleweight hopefuls trying to bag the 'six-figure contract."

UFC today released all 28 names of this season's competitors (see them here) and while most fight fans are tuning in to see the banter between Jones and Sonnen, UFC President Dana White recently gave us this juicy nugget that may be more reason to pay attention.

Or it could just be the (cough) "next Anderson Silva."

Following the conclusion of TUF 17, Jones will put his 205-pound title on the line against Sonnen at the UFC 159 pay-per-view (PPV) event from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, on April 27, 2013. Until then, they'll have to settle for daily duty as leaders of the new school, including the always-entertaining "coach's challenge."
