Featherweights will share the Octagon at UFC 156 as surging 145-pound prospect Robbie "Problems" Peralta takes on veteran of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) reality show, Akira Corassani.

With the event just under one-month away, match ups are still being added to the UFC 156: "Aldo vs. Edgar" fight card as a featherweight affair between Robbie Peralta and Akira Corassani will take place at the Feb. 2, 2013, event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Swedish news outlet MMANytt first reported news of the 145-pound match up. UFC officials have yet to confirm the bout.

Peralta (16-3, 1 NC) is coming off a 24-second starching of Jason Young at UFC on FUEL TV 5 last September, a victory that pushed his record with the organization to 2-0 with 1 "No Contest." The 27-year-old has been touted as a competitor with a bright future in the featherweight division, but he has yet to be tested against a top-flight opponent.

That test will have to wait at least one more fight as Corassani, while a respectable fighter with solid skills, is nowhere near the top of the division.

Corassani (10-3, 1 NC) made his long-awaited UFC debut with a split decision victory over Andy Ogle last September, also at UFC on FUEL TV 5. The Swedish fighter was a cast member on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) season 14, but following the show his Octagon debut was postponed due to injuries.

The 30-year-old has finished his opponent in four of 10 victories. He has also lost by (T)KO in all three of his career defeats.

The Peralta vs. Corassani match up will likely be aired on the preliminary portion of the card, which is set to broadcast on FX and Facebook.

UPDATE: This fight will not take place at UFC 156. Corassani tweeted the following on Saturday morning: "A fight on UFC 156 was offered to me but unfortunately I am wrestling an intense fever right now. Very sad about it, perfect fight for me!"

It is unknown at this time if the organization will seek a replacement for Corassani or pull Peralta from the fight card.

UFC 156: "Aldo vs. Edgar" goes down Feb. 2, 2013 from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event headliner will see Jose Aldo put his featherweight strap on the line against former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar. Also on the card will be a heavyweight collision of Alistair Overeem vs. Antonio Silva as well as light heavyweight affair between Rashad Evans and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
