A whole bunch of people tuned in for the UFC 155 "Prelims." Were you one of them?
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) closed out its 2012 fight campaign with its UFC 155: "Dos Santos vs. Velasquez 2" pay-per-view (PPV), which blew the roof off the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Dec. 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As always, the main card was preceded by a line-up of preliminary fights on the FX Channel, Including a lightweight scrap between Jamie Varner vs. Melvin Guillard, as well as a bantamweight brawl featuring Brad Pickett vs. Eddie Wineland, among others.
When all was said and done, the UFC 155 "Prelims" averaged 1.4 million viewers, according to a report from Sherdog.com. That number is higher than the 1.2 million grabbed for UFC on FOX 5, but still below the 1.8 who tuned in for UFC 148.
Not too shabby.
