Semtex is feeling lonely right now as he looks for a dance partner overseas. Who's man enough to step up?
Don't be scared, homie.
Embattled British brawler Paul Daley is out of the upcoming Bellator show after getting tangled up in a web of visa issues; however, he's not going to sit on the sidelines and miss the opportunity to hurt someone.
"Semtex" is already in line to compete at Cage Contender 16 on Feb. 23, 2013 at the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght, Dublin, Ireland. Unfortunately, it won't be against his first choice, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veteran Marcus Davis.
Daley explains via his official Facebook page:
"Since Marcus Davis has declined to fight me, Who would you guys like to see me fight? The promoters are securing an opponent...but as a lot of people seem scared to fight me, its always good to have some back up ideas."
The former UFC and Strikeforce welterweight was last seen beating the brakes off Rudy Bears at the Bellator 72 show in Tampa last July. At 30-12, the 29-year-old striker has 21 wins by way of knockout/technical knockout and has competed in mixed martial arts (MMA) for nearly 10 years.
Whether or not we eventually get to see him ply his trade on Spike TV, remains to be seen.
