What's "The Answer" to solving the Jose Aldo riddle? That's something former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar hopes to figure out in this weekend's UFC 156 main event in Las Vegas.
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight Champion Frankie Edgar is back with the latest installment of his "Road to UFC 156" video blog. "The Answer" challenges Jose Aldo for the 145-pound strap this Saturday night (Feb. 2, 2013) at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"The Answer" fell on hard times at his old stomping grounds of 155 pounds, coughing up his division title to the resurgent Ben Henderson. "Smooth" was able to retain the strap in a close -- albeit controversial -- decision win, but Edgar isn't getting anywhere near a rematch in the foreseeable future.
But that doesn't mean he can't still get himself a title shot.
That's because the 145-pound weight class is a little light on challengers right now and Edgar, a former champion, can go to the head of the Featherweight class without little-to-no resistance. What happens once he gets there, remains to be seen.
Fortunately, we only have to wait a few more days.
