The UFC handed out its usual three bonus awards to fighters coming out of the UFC on FOX 6: "Johnson vs. Dodson" event last night (Sat., Jan. 26, 2013) in Chicago, Illinois, and all three were more than deserving.
UFC on FOX 6 is in the books from Chicago, Illinois, and as usual, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced the night's winners for "Fight of the Night," "Knockout of the Night," and "Submission of the night."
All five fighters who received bonuses were awarded an additional $50,000 for their standout efforts.
"Fight of the Night" went to Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson for their thrilling five-round battle that ending with "Mighty Mouse" retaining his UFC flyweight championship via scores of 48-47, 48-47 and 49-46.
"Knockout of the Night" was awarded to Anthony Pettis, who finished Donald Cerrone via liver kick in the first round of their lightweight battle.
"Submission of the Night," was awarded to Ryan Bader, who picked up the quickest submission victory in the history of the UFC light heavyweight division with his 50-second guillotine choke of Vladimir Matyushenko.

Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we will pass along as soon as possible.
