Vitor Belfort vs. Luke Rockhold, a 185-pound fight UFC President Dana White is "talking about," is now the worst kept secret in mixed martial arts (MMA). Sorry 'bout that!

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White wants to book Vitor Belfort's next fight against Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold, so hopefully the mixed martial arts (MMA) media won't "fuck the whole deal up by telling everybody."

Oops, too late.

"We have a fight for him. I think it is Rockhold. It might be Rockhold, yeah.Yeah, that's it. That's what we're talking about. There you go. So I gave you your fight that isn't done yet but we're talking about, because every time I do, you guys go out and tell everybody and it fucks the whole deal up, but there you go. I gave you the one fight I didn't want to tell you about that I did."

White did some fantasy matchmaking at the UFC on FOX 6 press conference media scrum (see it here) and while it's hardly a done deal, the Las Vegas fight boss did admit it was a fight his crew is "talking about."

Belfort (22-10) is fresh off a second-round ass kicking of Michael Bisping at the UFC on FX 7 event earlier this month in Brazil. "The Phenom" could be a couple of wins away from a rematch against Anderson Silva, he just has to fulfill this obligation first.

Could Rockhold be one of those "top guys?"

The American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) standout enters the Octagon with a 10-1 record and having never lost under the Strikeforce banner. In addition to being the last man to hold the now-defunct promotion's 185-pound strap, Rocky boasts wins over Ronaldo Souza and Tim Kennedy.

How about it fight fans, is this a fight you'd like to see? Or does Rockhold deserve the same treatment as Gilbert Melendez and get to jump right into a "Spider" title fight?
