Now that the dust has settled, the smoke has cleared and the blood has dried, it's time to find out who's worse for the wear following the carnage at UFC on FX 7: "Belfort vs. Bisping," which took place at the Ibirapuera Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Jan. 19, 2013.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) today (Jan. 23, 2013) issued its list of medical suspensions for UFC n FX 7: "Belfort vs. Bisping," which took place on Sat., Jan. 19, 2013, from the Ibirapuera Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Main event participant Michael Bisping is the most notable name on the list, receiving a 60-day suspension after suffering a devastating second round technical knockout loss to Vitor Belfort (watch full video highlights here) via head kick and ensuing ground-and-pound.

It will likely take "The Count" more time than that to recover emotionally after missing out on a No. 1 Middleweight contender spot (read more on that here) for the third and perhaps final time.

Thiago Tavares nearly got murdered on the main card thanks to a savage Khabib Nurmagomedov first round knockout that included about 10-too-many vicious elbows to his unconscious grill as referee Dan Miragliotta hovered irresponsibly overhead in disbelief (watch full video highlights here).

The good news for Tavares (and Miragliotta) is that he didn't seem to sustain any serious facial injuries and will only be on the shelf for two months, too.

That's not all.

Here is the complete list of UFC on FX 7 injuries and their post-fight medical suspensions/instructions (via MMAWeekly.com):

Michael Bisping: Suspended 60 days, no contact for 45 days
Daniel Sarafian: Suspended 30 days, no contact for 21 days
Ben Rothwell: Suspended 30 days, no contact for 21 days
Thiago Tavares: Suspended 60 days, no contact for 45 days
Milton Vieira: Suspended 30 days, no contact for 21 days

Lucas Martins: Suspended 30 days, no contact for 21 days

Wagner Prado: Suspended 180 days unless his left knee is cleared by physician following MRI; he is also suspended 30 days with no contact for 21 days
C.J. Keith: Suspended 180 days unless his right knee is cleared by a physician following an MRI

Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just precautions in most cases.
