Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held its traditional pre-fight press conference earlier today (Jan. 23, 2013) at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to promote the UFC 158: "St. Pierre vs. Diaz" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which is scheduled to take place at the same location on March 16, 2013. At its conclusion, event headliners Georges St. Pierre and Nick Diaz came nose-to-nose for the very first time.

Anyone else get the chills?

Sure, it's silly to have a guy coming off a loss AND a drug suspension fighting for the division title (Sorry, Johny), but this is still going to be one helluva fight. I'm talking, of course, about the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight strap, firmly attached to the waist of 170-pound kingpin Georges St. Pierre.

He asked for it, now he's going to get it.

The recently-unified title is up for grabs at the UFC 158 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which goes down on March 16, 2013 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Hoping to get his paws on the prize is division bad boy Nick Diaz, who actually bothered to show up for today's pre-fight press conference in "The City of Saints."

Oh, the irony.

Keep in mind, fight fans, we're less than two months away. And there are some pretty badass fights on the televised main card including Jake Ellenberger vs. Johny Hendricks and Rory MacDonald vs. Carlos Condit. All four of those competitors can also serve as an emergency fill-in on the off chance that history repeats itself.

This (or this) could be one of the reasons why.
