"When he accepted the fight against Jon Jones, I couldn't sleep.... He never gets tired. Bisping said, 'Ah, I'm going to get Vitor tired and then I'm going to punch and kick him.' I think he needs to change his mind and he needs to look for something different because Vitor never gets tired [laughs]. Sorry Bisping, but I think it's going to be very fast [smiles]."
-- Joana Prado, a former Brazilian model and Playboy Playmate who doubles as the wife of former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort, recently weighed in on her husband's upcoming showdown with Michael Bisping in the UFC on FX 7 main event, which will take place later this evening (Jan. 19, 2013) from the Ibirapuera Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil. "Feiticeira" -- who admits she couldn't sleep when "The Phenom" was booked to battle the dangerous Jon Jones at UFC 152 -- doesn't have the same feeling this time around when it comes to the "Count." Indeed, it must be remarkably nerve-racking to be married to, or romantically involved with, a professional fighter (just ask Pat Barry for proof positive). But, Prado now appears to be at ease, scoffing at all the mixed martial arts (MMA) "experts" who think that Bisping can win if he can out-pressure and out-cardio Belfort, a hard-hitting fast starter who historically is most successful sooner rather than later during his fights. In fact, she doesn't appear very concerned at all and predicts her man will make quick work of the British barker. Does this match up amuse you, too, or will the Bisping clan have the last laugh when the dust settles?
