UFC quick quote: Jon Jones responds to Dana White's ‘diva' comments

UFC champ Jon Jones and company president Dana White have had their ups and down in recent months. The latest chapter in the ongoing saga was White calling Jones a "diva" for saying he treated like a "piece of meat" after the cancellation of UFC 151. A response from "Bones" on the "diva" comments was imminent, and on Tuesday's edition on UFC Tonight on FUEL TV he gave his piece.

"Well, being in this business you learn to have tough skin and not take everything so personal. It is whatever. Dana says things and he says whatever is coming to his head and you can't blame him for it. Maybe sometimes I say diva-ish things, maybe I don't, maybe we just always don't agree to things, but we're learning each other and I honestly feel all our little moments are just bringing us closer together."

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones appeared on Tuesday's edition of "UFC Tonight" on FUEL TV where he responded to UFC President Dana White calling him a "diva" in a recent interview at the New Media Expo (NMX) in Las Vegas, Nevada (watch it here). White made the comments in the wake of "Bones" stating he was treated like a "piece of meat" by the UFC following the shocking cancellation of UFC 151 last September. Jones took the "diva" comments in stride and that coupled with a recent picture on White's Twitter feed -- it appears the champ and the boss are mending their relationship.
