Tickets for UFC 159: "Jones vs. Sonnen," which is set to "rock" the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., on Sat., Feb. 23, 2013, will go on sale to the general public next Wednesday morning (Jan. 23, 2013) at 10 a.m. ET.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Fight Club members and UFC Newsletter subscribers, naturally, will be able to scoop up tickets prior to them being available for public consumption thanks to two separate special pre-sales. And if UFC President Dana White's enthusiasm is any indication, UFC 159 could be a hot ticket in the "Brick City" -- just a 20-minute train ride from New York City -- when the box office opens.

"Jon Jones has destroyed all the top guys in the light heavyweight division," UFC President Dana White said in a recent press release. "He has defended the title four times and is one of the pound-for-pound best in the world. This fight with Chael is personal! Chael called Jones out and said a lot of things about him. Chael always comes to fight and I'm very interested in this match up."

UFC 159 currently has no other bouts announced for the card beside the main event between Jon Jones vs. Chael Sonnen, the two opposing coaches on the upcoming The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 17 MMA reality series that airs on FX. However, rest assured that the mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion will likely load it up with top talent from in-and-around the tristate (New Jersey, New York and Connecticut) area and beyond sooner rather than later.

• UFC Fight Club presale: Mon., Jan. 21 at 10 a.m.
• UFC Newsletter presale: Tues., Jan. 22 at 10 a.m.
• General tickets sale: Weds., Jan. 23 at 10 a.m.

UFC 159 tickets can be purchased through StubHub.com (Note: StubHub often has seats available even if the event is "sold out"). It will also be available to watch on pay-per-view (PPV) at 10 p.m. ET on fight night.
