Mike Goldberg is ready to resume his play-by-play duties for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as he is set to return at UFC on FOX 6 on Jan. 26 after missing UFC 155 last month due to a 'complicated health issue.'
"It is NOT all over!"
Yes, someone does know when Mike Goldberg will be back and it's Dave Sholler, who revealed at today's (Jan 15. 2013) UFC on FOX 6 media conference call that the long time Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) play-by-play man will be back to his regular duties at "Johnson vs. Dodson" on Jan. 26, 2013 in Chicago, Illinois.
Goldberg debunked rumors that an addiction to Adderall and a stint in rehab was the reason for his absence at last month's UFC 155: "Dos Santos vs. Velasquez 2" event in Las Vegas, Nevada. Not giving away too many details, Goldberg simply said he was "dealing with a complicated health issue" and would return soon.
Jon Anik filled the void in Mike's absence alongside Joe Rogan last month in "Sin City", but now, it seems the duo of "Goldie" and Rogan is back in full effect beginning in "The Windy City."
The event features a flyweight title fight between Demetrious Johnson vs. John Dodson and includes a couple of intriguing match ups with Quinton Jackson taking on Glover Teixeira in a light heavyweight showdown and a lightweight scrap between Anthony Pettis and Donald Cerrone.
Welcome back, "Goldie."
