I went to the bank about an hour ago to deposit some checks and heard on newsradio that a 43 year old CHP officer committed Felony DUI, caused some accidents/injuries, threatened police, tried to run away, and even hit an officer!!! Brought back a lot of memories, or at least partial memories!
I didn't get to hear the whole story so I told myself I would check it out when I get home; But first I had to go to the grocery store and pick up something to drink. I couldn't help but wonder how in the world this officer got away with all those shenanigans and ended up with only felony probation?
So I get home and find out the details, and as I crack this bottle I can't help but be even more sickened to find out that yes she was convicted of a felony but she will only get felony probation which means no jail time and at the end her DUI charge will be reduced to a misdemeanor and all other charges dropped!
Can't say I am shocked at the preferential treatment, but what?!!
