This is a bullet and Dan Henderson should be glad he dodged it.
"There's some unfinished business, for sure. I don't think Henderson handled the situation wisely, by making fun of me for not taking the fight (against Sonnen). Dude, you just dodged a bullet and you're talking trash to me? You got injured and you're going to talk trash that I didn't fight Chael? He came out with this ad that said, ‘Buy a Hendo shirt and get a free Jon Jones shirt to dry your car off with.' You're making fun of me, yet you got hurt and dodged a bullet? You're sitting at home with ice on your knee and I'm here doing pushups again because I thought my camp should have been over. I have stuff to do and you're sitting around your home playing video games, or whatever you do during the day. ... You should shut up and be grateful you dodged a bullet."
-- Uh oh, "Hendo's" in troooouuuubbbllleee. It seems Dan Henderson and his trash talking in the wake of the cancellation of UFC 151 has gotten underneath the skin of sensitive strategist and UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, who tells the Toronto Sun he's not happy with "Dangerous Dan's" handling of the situation once the former Pride king found out "Bones" turned down a replacement bout against Chael Sonnen. Henderson immediately hopped aboard the "trash Jonny Bones" train, which has led the champion to respond in kind by telling Henderson to shut his trap and be grateful he dodged a bullet by getting injured. Thankfully, both men feel there is "unfinished business" so this is a match-up with a built in feud when it happens down the road. Unless Vitor Belfort does the unthinkable and turns the MMA world upside down at UFC 152 on Sept. 22 in Toronto by taking the belt from Jones. Are we still hoping to see Jones vs. Henderson, Maniacs?
