Matt Mitrione was one of the guest of this week radio show "The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani ", and during the interview most people latched on to the ' I'll beat Jon Jones Ass " comment because everything Jon Jones sells.

However, most people miss what I consider the most important part of the interview.

Ariel and Mitrione began talking about his pay in the UFC.

Now we all know Matt has a TUF contract, and he started out his contract at 8k / 8k which made Ariel wonder how the hell is he supporting himself since he hasn't fought in over a year.

According to Matt himself, he made an incredible $180k during 2010 in just 2 fights which included a fight of the night bonus, and $120k for 2011 in just 3 fights which one of those fights was a defeat to Cheick Kongo.
