Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo wasn't the only UFC titleholder to be involved in an auto accident last weekend, as UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos was the victim of a hit-and-run in Brazil.

He avoided any injuries and will still defend his title against Cain Velasquez at UFC 155.

As a fan, I felt my heart drop when I saw the link "Vehicular Misadventure Alert: Junior dos Santos victim of hit and..." on the Google search page. I didn't know if he was dead, injured, or if he was at fault and running from the law!

From Fighters Only:

"The traffic in Salvador is frightening. They just hit my car and didn't even stop, continued on their way as if it were a normal situation. Please, let's be more conscious and respect other people. We gain nothing with violence and disrespect in traffic. Give passage and let things go peacefully," Dos Santos reflected afterwards.

I think "bad energy" means an ass whooping -- though it's not unreasonable to think someone would flee the scene if they just smashed into one of the baddest men in all of mixed martial arts (MMA).
