Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to pay-per-view (PPV) this past Saturday night (Sept. 22, 2012) with UFC 152: "Jones vs. Belfort" from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, featuring Jon Jones successfully defending his light heavyweight championship with a fourth round submission of Vitor Belfort.
Even if he almost got finished himself in the process.
In the co-main event of the evening, Demetrious Johnson became the first ever UFC flyweight champion by earning a split decision victory over Joseph Benavidez.
Other action on the card saw Michael Bisping take out Brian Stann, Matt Hamill return from retirement to dominate Roger Hollett, and Cub Swanson knock Charles Oliveira into next week.
