Coming to a sauna near you: UFC fighter, UFC fighter, UFC fighter ... Brittney Palmer?

Okay, maybe the Octagon girl won't actually go so far as to get sweaty with a bunch of jocks while they're all cranky and cutting weight but Palmer revealed in a recent interview with Sportsnet.ca, that the card carrying ladies of the UFC actually cut weight too.

Kind of.

"We cut weight in our own way. You have to understand there's fights every other weekend so we naturally just have to stay fit. A fighter can have six months, three months to prepare in camp, but for us we stay in shape and then closer to the event, no sodium, cut out the little things just to kind of lean us out for the show."

Diet, weight cut, carry cards and look sexy. Got it.

Palmer, as well as her cageside colleague Arianny Celeste, will strut their stuff at the Air Canada Centre tonight (Sat., Sept. 22, 2012) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for the UFC 152: "Jones vs. Belfort" event. Make sure you follow along with MMAmania.com's complete coverage of the entire pay-per-view (PPV) event by clicking here.

To better illustrate how Palmer looks at UFC events after cutting weight in her special way, we've added a few more pics after the jump. That's really our only reason for adding these pics, too. Promise.
