While Blackhouse stablemates and Brazilian buddies Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida would never agree to face off inside the Octagon, they don't have the luxury of turning down fights as part of the Round 5/MMAmania.com Ultimate Series 10 Tournament.
After all, they're just plastic figurines and they'll do what we tell them to -- or we'll kick their little asses.
Speaking of beatdowns, Machida was able to recapture the form that earned him the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight title by laying waste to Anthony Pettis in the semifinal round. True, "Showtime" is a much smaller fighter, but "The Dragon" nearly lost his fire in a nail-biter against Chael Sonnen in the opening frame.
On the other side of the bracket, UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva advanced on a BYE.
That inactivity almost cost him a spot in the final, as Alistair Overeem reemed his way past Mark Coleman last week to earn his shot at "The Spider." Despite a competitive back-and-forth affair, eventually the equine diet caused "Demolition Man's" gas tank to explode and Silva ran away with it.
That leaves us with Anderson Silva vs. Lyoto Machida for all the marbles. Pick either Silva or Machida to advance, based on their respective skills represented in their Round 5 figurine.
