What do former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 205-pound Champion Rashad Evans, former Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem, former K-1 Hero's Middleweight Tournament Champion Gesias Cavalcante and UFC Light Heavyweight Thiago Silva all have in common?
They're all Blackzilians.
So too, is ex-champion Vitor Belfort, who recently promoted himself to the 205-pound weight class in an attempt to dethrone reigning division titleholder Jon Jones at the UFC 152 pay-per-view (PPV) event this Saturday night (Sept. 22, 2012) at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Here's a sample of what they said.
Evans: He has nothing to lose. He's fighting because he loves to fight. When you fight for that reason, you tap into the very reason why we all started fighting. It's because we love to do it. That's why (Jones) should have fear, or definitely respect Vitor.
Overeem: Vitor is prepared. He's mentally strong. Jon Jones is a fighter who will always hold a surprise, but if anyone can beat him it's going to be Vitor Belfort. Besides me, of course, but I'm a heavyweight.
Cavalcante:He can use his experience and surprise Jon Jones in this fight. We are all cheering for him. He represents our team and Brazil. He is prepared to represent us and take another title to Brazil.
Silva: I think this will be a great fight for (Vitor). It will be a great fight, Jon Jones better be prepared because it will be a fight.
No surprises there.
