Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) aired its traditional "Countdown" preview show for UFC 152: "Jones vs Belfort" on FUEL TV tonight (Sept. 18, 2012), featuring a behind-the-scenes look as current Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones prepares to defend his title once again against former "old school" 205-pound division kingpin Vitor Belfort, this Saturday night (Sept. 22, 2012) at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Jones was supposed to take on Dan Henderson in the UFC 151 main event weeks earlier; however, an injury to "Hendo" forced him to withdraw with little time to find a replacement. Former two-time number one Middleweight contender Chael Sonnen volunteered his services, but "Bones" refused to accept the bout because it was such short notice and ultimately not in his best interests.

UFC President Dana White made the shocking decision to scrap the entire pay-per-view (PPV) event and push Jones' title defense to the next card, UFC 152. Things only got stranger, however, when 205-pound contenders Lyoto Machida and Mauricio Rua both turned down the opportunity to reclaim their belts.

Enter "The Phenom."

The UFC 152 "Countdown" video for Jon Jones vs. Vitor Belfort touches on the unique sequence of events that led them to Toronto, as well as their training and preparation for what White has promised to be one helluva' scrap.

In addition, you can view a "Countdown" preview for the co-main event, which will crown the mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion's first-ever Flyweight champion when Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson get after it for five rounds, as well as the potential Middleweight number one contender eliminator match with Michael Bisping and Brian Stann, after the jump.
