Ahead of his title fight against Vitor Belfort this weekend (Sept. 22, 2012) at UFC 152 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, Jon Jones, took the time to participate in a live ESPN chat with fans around the globe.
Part of the ‘Fight Week' festivities and promotion for what will be his fourth title defense, "Bones" answered a bevy of questions that ranged from the UFC 151 cancellation, his gameplan against "The Phenom," and his "beef" with UFC President Dana White.
The young champion was also met with the question by a brave fan who asked him flat out if he was 'afraid' to go toe-toe-toe with two-time number one 185-pound contender, Chael Sonnen.
No question was off limits, so make the jump to see the highlights of Jon Jones' fan chat, courtesy of ESPN.

Since Vitor's forte is striking, is this the fight we'll see you look to your wrestling as the go-to? Or are you still going to try to strike with him?
Jon Jones
No, I will definitely be striking a lot. I believe that I'm more of a versatile striker in this situation.

I know you train five times a day but when do u stop training before a fight or do u train less leading up to the fight thanks champ.
Jon Jones
I train less, more smart. More gameplan specific. More specialized.
Zack (Pittsburgh)
Does it upset you that UFC 151's cancellation is being placed largely on you?
Jon Jones
Not any more. I've come to terms with it.
Jennifer (FL)
What is the one thing or person that has impacted your life for the better, not only your success in MMA, but your home life as well?
Jon Jones
Yeah I would have to say having a close knit, supportive family.
Rick (Kansas)
Big fan of yours! It seemed Anderson Silva tried to show you up by letting the public know that he would have taken the 151 fight. Does this change your feelings about a future fight at all? You did say at one time you wouldn't fight Rashad. Thanks!
Jon Jones
It's easy to say what you would have done when you're not the guy sitting in the seat.
FakeJoeSilva (Parts Unknown)
Do you expect any negative financial impacts due to the animosity that has been stirred up between you and Dana?
Jon Jones
No, we're both adults. I'm sure we'll come to some sort of conclusion.
Beefing gets us nowhere.
Joe (Boston)
whats your dream fight? (opponent/location)
Jon Jones
Dream fight is whoever at Madison Square Garden.
Tell us the best thing or tip Coach Jackson has teached you!
Jon Jones
To embrace suffering.
Rob (Philly)
You've been incredibly active in the UFC. Aside from staying healthy, any reason to think you'd slow your fights per year in the future?
Jon Jones
No, I'm not planning on slowing down. I'd actually like to fight one more time this year.
Stephen (Georgia)
Hey Bones, whats your take on the GSP vs Condit fight?
Jon Jones
May the best man win.
marc (work)
can we hope to see you close Chael's mouth in the future or does that fight not inerest you at all
Jon Jones
The fight's really not that intersting. I'm only looking to fight the best.
Greg (DC)
are you scared of Chael?
Jon Jones
I'm getting ready to fight my fifth world champion. Come on son.
Jon Jones
Thank you so much for hanging out. See you this Saturday.
There you have it Maniacs, anything in particular stand out to you?
