I have really been enjoying the last few weeks of the sweet science. Between last weeks Klitschko and Ward fights and this weeks JCCjr/Martinez fights, I've been having a blast keeping up. I must admit i'm a WAY bigger fan of the stand up game than the grappling aspect of mma. Don't get me wrong, I love some BJJ. It is a completely different chess game all together. It's like comparing apples and battleships. I love a guy like werdum and how he seems to lure fighters in and when they are defending one thing, they are being set up for something else. It's great but I freaking love to watch guys stand and bang. It can be quite the chess game in and of itself. I love watching K-1. I love watching a elite striker not have to worry about being taken down and concentrate solely on strikes. I wish mma/ufc contracts weren't so strick and mma fighters had the freedom to test thierselfs in the squared circle against top boxing or kickboxing fighters. Come on, who wouldn't love to see Belfort or wanderlei or the all mighty anderson silva in a straight up striking match. I would love to see boxing/kickboxing matches with the 4 ounce gloves on myself and i think a large number of people would pay good money to do the same. In my opinion the ufc should invest in the sweet science or a young kickboxing promotion. Hell, they seem to love money and it would probally benefit both sports. Double hell, I'm pretty damn sure it would. They should do mixed sport events. Imagine that, todays top boxers, kickboxers, and mma fighters fighting on the same damn night on the same damn card!!! It's just a thought but if i had the money I would invest in an idea like that. Money money money. . . . . MONEY!!! I kid I kid. Anyways folks, that about does it for this sigment of Getting It Off My Chest. I'm pretty tired or I probally wouldn't even follow through with posting this. I can't tell you how many times I've started a Fanpost just to hit delete when i get finished. Look out world, here I come. Later, herethereafter
