LAS VEGAS — After sustaining an injury during a recent training session, UFC President Dana White has announced that the "entire UFC organization" has been put on hiatus until he recovers. White was reportedly training for UFC 152, doing a series of "press readiness" exercises that prepare White for the rigors of pre- and post-fight press conferences. "Dana was pounding his fist on the podium to make a point, and he hit the edge of the podium in a weird way. I guess he tweaked his hand or something," reported a UFC staffer.

"What can I say?" White lamented. "I busted up my hand real bad, and I can’t sign contracts, shake hands with fighters, or anything. We decided it was just best to put the whole organization on hold." In a sport that has been plagued with injuries, White’s will have the most far-reaching consequences, leading to tens of millions in lost revenue for Zuffa, as well as the ire of MMA fans worldwide. "Listen, I wish the show could go on," said White. "But you guys have to understand, my hand really hurts."
