The MMA news world is on fire right now, with Jose Aldo reportedly being injured and out of his superfight with Frankie Edgar at UFC 153.
This news coming on the same day as Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was also reported to have an elbow injury preventing him from fighting Glover Teixiera on the same event. Now, Luke Thomas of MMA Fighting has tweeted an interesting quote that gives the story an interesting twist:
"I'm fine, I just train...No, I'm training normal. For me there was nothing spoken. Even on one leg I would fight. " - Aldo saying he's fine

This is quite an odd scenario. The news of Aldo's reported injury has already made its rounds, but could it be that it was bogus? What could be the reason for Dana White tweeting that he was injured, if he's saying here that he's fine?
Very odd.

He's 100% injured and out of the fight. RT @mariusvdhomberg: @arielhelwani Any truth to the "aldo is fine" rumour?

Update #3: Josh Gross makes sure I can't have any hope:
Please ignore quotes from Jose Aldo that he'll fight. He was told by Andre Pederneiras not to confirm anything if asked. He's confirmed out.
