World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) announcer (and part-time professional wrestler) Jerry Lawler collapsed last night on Monday Night RAW after suffering a heart attack during the promotion's live televised broadcast. "The King" was quickly taken into surgery to have a blockage removed that led to his near-fatal incident.

What does this have to do with mixed martial arts (MMA)?

Well, not much, but as we all know, a good number of MMA fans are also closet WWE fans, which leads to some entertaining banter in the comments section whenever we post a Brock Lesnar update. You may not care about what goes on inside the squared circle, but this update is for those Maniacs who do.

Lawler is currently recovering in a hospital in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

After the jump, our very own Geno Mrosko has video of medical personnel assisting Lawler, who is perhaps best known to casual (and older) fans for his famous feud with comedian Andy Kaufman back in 1982.
