Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White posted this picture of himself along with number one lightweight contender Nate Diaz, his trainer Cesar Gracie and company owner Lorenzo Fertitta on his Twitter account announcing that he had just put the finishing touches on a deal with the youngest of the Diaz brothers:

However, the brash boss man didn't specify exactly what kind of deal it was, though the most likely scenario is the Stockton slugger probably signed an extension with the promotion.

After Diaz defeated Jim Miller at UFC on Fox 3 earlier this year, he was awarded a title shot to take on the winner of this weekend's 155-pound title fight between current champion Ben Henderson and former champion Frankie Edgar at UFC 150 in Denver, Colorado.

Nate's win over Miller marked his third straight after making the drop back down to the lightweight division after previously suffering consecutive losses to Rory MacDonald and Dong Hyun Kim in the 170-pound division.
