Mike Swick earns himself "Knockout of the Night" honors by pasting DaMarques Johnson in the second round of their welterweight battle on the main card of the UFC on Fox 4: "Shogun vs. Vera" event that took place last night (Sat., Aug. 4, 2012) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It was Swick's first fight in two years and his first win since June 13, 2009. He feels the victory puts him back in contention at 170-pounds but that's an almost irrelevant side note to his story of a triumphant return after his various trials and tribulations over the past couple years.
