Lyoto Machida puts his best foot right hand forward and knocks Ryan Bader into next week with a single punch in the co-main event of the UFC on Fox 4: "Shogun vs. Vera" card that took place tonight (Sat., Aug. 4, 2012) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. "The Dragon" was far more impressive in victory than Mauricio Rua, who stopped Brandon Vera later in the evening but took four rounds to do it and looked highly questionable in the process. This led to UFC President Dana White awarded Machida the next light heavyweight title shot against the winner of the UFC 151 main event bout on Sept. 1 pitting titleholder Jon Jones vs. Dan Henderson.
