In this time of indecent management and irritable emptiness, I know how you're all feeling. It may be a good time to look ahead a little ways, I'm talking Ufc on Fuel TV 5: Struve vs Miocic. The card is featuring bouts in all weight classes except for the lineup-less Flyweight Division.
The Co-Main event will hold, what will likely be a stand up brawl in the Welterweight Division between two warriors that favor Muay Thai, Dan Hardy and Amir Sadollah, as well as another match with Duane "Bang" Ludwig and Che "Beautiful" Mills. Both Matches are easily expected to be war on their feet!
The Bout I am looking forward to the most may be surprising to some, but the "expected" fight between Fabio Maldonado and Newcomer Jorgen Kruth is intriguing. Maldonados last fight with Igor Pokrajac was one of the most back and forth battles I've had the pleasure to watch recently.
Jorgen Kruth was supposed to make his UFC debut at Ufc on Fuel TV 2 in a "would have been" war against
Cyrille Diabaté. But pulled out with an injury. Kruth, A Swedish Heavyweight Kickboxer, pitted against the eruptive, yet technical boxing of Fabio Maldonado...
Hold it right there!
Another scheduled stand-off between Brad "One Punch" Pickett and Yves Jabouin is also set to take place, two strikers who are known for their stand up. Pickett with the balls out swinging, Jabouin had an absolute insane fight with Mark "The Machine" Hominick back at WEC 49, assures me that Brad Pickett is just the matchup to clone that battle and reveal it Live on Fuel!
Are you at all interested in the card?
