Look no further than the fan reaction Jones came under just yesterday when it was announced UFC 151 would be cancelled. People were quick to crucify Jones as a "coward" inconsiderate punk who cares not about anyone but himself. And once again people reminded me why i am STILL not comfortable letting my peers know that I am into MMA or as it is more commonly referred "cagefighting".

People actually think Jones, perhaps the most dominant LHW champ ever, is scared of this guy?

Riiiiiiight. MMA fans have a tendency to forget things. Such as the fact that Sonnen is coming off an embarrassing 2nd KO loss to....the MIDDLEWEIGHT champ. How that can garner a title shot is beyond me. (that only works if your Randy Couture people). If Rashad who is much more fluid with his takedowns and has much more serviceable sriking than Sonnen ever will, could not take Jones down what makes you think Chael will. Perhaps his T/E ratio of 16.9 men might, but sorry, you cant cheat yourself to winning anymore Chael, and NO just the fact that you engaged in a small war of words with the champ DOES not mean that you get to leapfrog proven contenders like Gustaffsson. Let's also get this straight Jones is in no way, shape or form even remotely scared of Mr. Sonnen. As a matter of fact he would probably dispose of him faster and easier than Anderson. We should be applauding Jon for not letting this wannabe contender walk into a completely undeserved title shot, and opting to take on the bigger challenge which is what he did. A rematch against the only man to ever make it competitive against him.

And what I mean by competitive, I mean he landed one maybe two shots that staggered the champ before he was left...well pictures speak louder than words...

Shame on you Mr. White for trying to place all the blame on Jones and his camp, keep giving us fans reasons to want somebody other than your lying, foul mouthed, conniving ass as the face of the UFC. I don't recall Jones being the one responsible for setting up a crappy PPV card based soley on the main event and still expect people to dish out the $50+ to get to watch it. I mean seriously the co-main event was Ellenberger vs Hieron!!
