Strikeforce fighter payouts for those who competed at the "Rousey vs. Kaufaman" event this past Saturday night (Aug. 18, 2012), which aired on the Showtime network from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, Calif., were released earlier today by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC).
Leading the fiscal charge was former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Ronaldo Souza, who topped main event headliner and Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey with $94,000 for his first round knockout of Derek Brunson ($13,000).
"Rowdy" made a cool $40,000 for taking home the arm of Sarah Kaufman ($17,000).
Not far off from her majesty was former queenpin Miesha Tate, whose rock-em, sock-em battle opposite Julie Kedzie left her with $38,000 for her birthday. "Fireball" won't be able to extinguish many bills with her $5,000 payout.
That's not all.
