For fans of mixed martial arts, this past week has been a slow crawl of steadily rising anticipation for tonight's "Rousey vs. Kaufman" event, going down at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.

Tonight's (Sat., Aug. 18, 2012) Strikeforce event will feature the first title defense of Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, who will battle soft spoken number one contender Sarah Kaufman.

Also on the card, former Middleweight Champion Ronaldo Souza returns to battle Derek Brunson in the co-main event of the evening.
