With the last of the formalities complete, it's finally time to fight. Strikeforce held its official weigh in event for "Rousey vs. Kaufman" yesterday evening (Fri., Aug. 17, 2012) from inside the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.

This mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which will air on the premium cable network, Showtime, will feature a women's bantamweight championship match between division title holder Ronda Rousey making her first defense of the belt since winning it from Miesha Tate against top contender Sarah Kaufman.

In addition, former Strikeforce Middleweight champion Ronaldo Souza will take on Derek Brunson in the co-main event of the evening.
