Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to pay-per-view (PPV) this past Saturday night (July 7, 2012) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC 148 "Silva vs. Sonnen 2" featured the long-awaited rematch between Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen, as "The Spider" was able to finish off the venerable challenger for the second time in his career. This time, he didn't need a Hail Mary submission to pull out the win.

Just a controversial knee and some Brazilian hammerfists.

Elsewhere on the card, Forrest Griffin retired Tito Ortiz with a unanimous decision win over "The People's Champion," complete with post-fight theatrics that included an eight-sided walkoff and impromptu interview.
