Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently tied a ribbon around its UFC 148: "Silva vs. Sonnen 2" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which took place last night (Sat., July 7, 2012) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Immediately following the mixed martial arts (MMA) event, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White and a handful of participating fighters -- Anderson Silva, Chael Sonnen, Tito Ortiz, Forrest Griffin, among others -- were on hand for the UFC 148 post-fight press conference to break down all the night's action.

Anderson Silva defeated Chael Sonnen (again) in the main event, Forrest Griffin won a decision over Tito Ortiz (again), Cung Le earned his first UFC victory, Demian Maia made a successful debut at welterweight, and Chad Mendes reminded everyone he's one of the best featherweights in the world.
