The official weigh in event for UFC 148: "Silva vs. Sonnen 2" took place today (Fri., July 6, 2012) from the UFC Fan Expo at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Everyone is on weight and ready to go. And for those hoping Silva and Sonnen would get into it during the staredown, they never got the chance. Too much security.
Well, "The Spider" shoulder tapped Sonnen but that's all. Tomorrow night it goes down.
UFC 148 is where the two best middleweight fighters in the world, Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen, will hook 'em up for a second time following a five-round nailbiter way back at UFC 117 in August 2010. And, just like before, "The Spider's" 185-pound title will be on the line.
But that's not all.
