Forrest Griffin vs Tito Ortiz staredown pic from UFC 148 press conference in Las Vegas

Forrest Griffin (left) and Tito Ortiz square off at today's UFC 148 pre-fight press conference in Las Vegas.

Third time is (hopefully) the charm.

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight Champions, Forrest Griffin vs. Tito Ortiz, will try and settle their score in a 205-pound rubber match in the co-main event of UFC 148: "Silva vs. Sonnen 2" on July 7, 2012 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"The People's Champion" took home a split decision win in their first encounter at UFC 59 over six years ago while the original "Ultimate Fighter" evened things up at UFC 106 a few years later. This bout will serves as the last for Ortiz, who announced his pending retirement earlier this year.

Middleweight strikers Cung Le and Patrick Cote, who slug it out on the UFC 148 main card this Saturday night in "Sin City," were also on hand for today's presser. See them go nose-to-nose after the jump.
