The official weigh in event for UFC on FOX 4: "Shogun vs. Vera" is set to take place a week from Friday (August 3, 2012) LIVE from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The first fighter is expected to tip the scale at 4 p.m. local time (7 p.m. ET).

As usual, MMAmania.com will provide a live video feed and up-to-the-second coverage of the UFC on FOX 4 weigh-ins, as well as provide a detailed recap of the festivities as soon as they conclude.

UFC on FOX 4 will feature a light heavyweight showdown pitting Mauricio Rua against fellow striker Brandon Vera. In addition, former 205-pound champion Lyoto Machida gets back on the horse in attempt to lasso the resurgent Ryan Bader.

For those fortunate enough to be in "The City of Angels" that weekend, remember the weigh-in is FREE to attend and open to the public. Doors to the weigh-in will open at 3 p.m. PT. In addition, UFC Fight Club members will be able to attend a special Q&A session with Dan Henderson at 2 p.m. PT.
