ONE FC: 'Pride of a Nation' is the biggest mixed martial arts (MMA) event the Philippines has ever seen and the card is coming closer to completion by the day. While there are a few fighters, including Shinya Aoki, Renato Sobral and Eduard Folayang, waiting to be matched, the three Gracies all have opponents.
Rolles was last seen making quick work of Bob Sapp in Jakarta but is likely to face a much more rigorous examination against the highly experienced Tony Bonello. The Australian is a former King of the Cage (KOTC) champion and has a 16-1-2 professional record and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt.
Igor has waited almost a year to make his ONE FC debut and also faces a tough test against Road FC veteran Jung Hwan Cha. The Korean has twice as many fights as him and holds a win over Ryo Chonan, who famously submitted Anderson Silva.
Gregor has fought twice for ONE FC and after beating Seok Mo Kim at the inaugural event he suffered a surprise decision loss to Malaysian Adam Kayoom last time out. He will be up against Australian Nicholas Mann who is very well known in the Philippines where he is the URCC Light Heavyweight Champion and this fight will be taking place at a catch weight of 80 kgs.
The fourth fight to be announced will see undefeated Thai fighter Shannon Wiratchai go up against Mitch Chilson. It will be youth against experience as the American is almost a decade older and has already fought twice for ONE FC, losing to Eric Kelly and beating AJ Mansour.
Wiratchai is one of the stars of DARE Championship in Bangkok and after impressing as an amateur and rising through the ranks to win the Naksu Lightweight belt he is currently 2-0 in his professional career and has very strong Judo skills.
Tickets are reportedly already well on their way to selling out and 16,500 fans are expected to witness ONE FC's first ever foray into the Philippines, which is taking place at the Araneta Coliseum, the same venue where Ali fought Frazier.
